Tips for a clean scan
Turn off flash on laminated cards. Use even light from the sides, keep your hand out of the light, and adjust the camera angle until reflections disappear. Place the four crop points on the document corners. Shadow reduction lightens uneven lighting; Noise reduction smooths grain. A reflection that has hidden the writing needs a clearer photo.
